When she tells you about her experiences in "this business," Roxan draws from three decades of the modeling lifestyle. She can tell you not only how it feels to be on the cover of Vogue, but in Vogue over and over. Roxan Gould has steered her life through modeling, which has shown her the world. "How could I resist a profession which allowed me to express myself creatively, travel the world, work with the best in the field, and still be my own boss?!"

Above it all, Roxan is an artist, as was her mother, which explains her ability to "appreciate the color, lighting and style which is used consistently in modeling." Ballet training, in her mind, prepared the way for modeling as an "outlet for movement." The moving dynamism of Roxan's expressive posture and facial expression are crystalized in a still photo: this is the simple secret of her modeling.

Modeling is more difficult than one might expect. It absorbs the individual's entire personal regimen of health and of daily habits. Modeling requires self-control, grit, tenacity, and self-determination. And yet, as fulfilling and rewarding as modeling actually is, Roxan will tell you that it is not her only line of work: raising her two children is her "first career." Roxan has supported her family by fulfilling the roles of Mother and Diva. Now she shares the experiences of her life, and the knowledge she has acquired, with other women everywhere.
